Movie Story
Gautam Mehra (Arjun Kapoor) is a hot-headed brat who breaks heads if the girl he is after says no to him. His latest muse is Aarvi (Tara Sutaria), an emerging singer who has made a music video on Gautam’s transgressions. Gautam plots Aarvi’s rise on the stage, but one day, she goes missing.
Because of his past record, the needle of suspicion is on Gaurav, as well as on a taxi driver Bhairav (John Abraham) who keeps requesting patrons to give him good ratings. After a point, it seems John is addressing the critics! Ditched by a morally-agnostic Rasika (Disha Patani), the simpleton Bhairav seems to be trying to become the messiah of jilted lovers.

Eight years after the original comes the sequel, ‘Ek Villain Returns’, in which the theme, ‘every story has a villain’ gets a refresh. This time around, the story expands its base with two male characters ricocheting between being hero and villain, one masked, another struggling to find his real face. There could have been something to this idea, that everyone has elements of hero and villain within and the one that comes up top depends upon our circumstances. But a disjointed plot and pedestrian performances do not an effective film make: in comparison, the less than middling ‘Ek Villain’, starring Siddharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh-Shraddha Kapoor, feels like a better film.
mohit suri has made film with passion, movie is worth to watch story line is not better than the earliest part but I watched this movie on the basis of trailer To be very honest movie is worth to watch only John Abraham played an outstanding performance his acting and dialogue delivering was wonderful on the other side direction is too good I was thinking before watch the film this movie is like other bollywood of 2022.
The screenplay is perfect makes the movie like cherry on top. Surprisingly, Arjun K is too good. And John Proves yet again if the script is good he shines anyway.
