Hey Sinamika is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written by Madhan Karki and directed by Brinda in her directorial debut. The movie title is taken from the song in O Kaadhal Kanmani. Produced by Geo Studios and Global One Studios, the film stars Dulquer Salman, Aditi Rao Haideri, and Kajal Agarwal. The venture started production in March 2021 with music provided by Govind Vasantha and photography by Preeta Jayaraman. The film was dubbed into Telugu & Malayalam and the Tamil version was released on the same date.

Judging by the trailer, Dulquer Yazan looks like a Malayalee man hosting a Tamil radio show. Therefore, he has a habit of speaking nonstop, one of the main complaints of his wife Mona played by Aditi Rao Haideri. Yazan is a rebel and he does not take gender roles so seriously. He was satisfied as a housewife and his wife had no sense of insecurity about having a career and paying bills.
Movie Story:
Aryan as Dulquer Salman and Mauna (Aditi Rao Haidari) are seen as a married couple. However, due to Aryan’s love for both of them, the silence seems to be very embarrassing. She contacts psychologist Malar (Kajal Agarwal) to divorce him. But if you cut from here, Malar will start to love Aryan. What happened to the husband who went to tell her his problem? On whose side does Aryan stand in the middle? Towards Malar who likes him? Do you like him. He should know about his wife who does not like him, that means he should know by watching this movie.

Movie Review:
The climax of the movie is quite impressive. Emotions out there but putting an end to all problems seems impressive either. Also by the end of the film, Dulquer was impressed with his performance. However, there is something special to be said about Aditi in this film. She nurtured good emotions in the film and is committed to her acting. She acted not only with her looks but also with all the gestures that a wife shows towards her husband. It has to be said that this is fine up to his character.
Dulquer also looks very dull in this movie. However, his character does not understand why he behaves like that. Dulquer should know why he chose this movie. Does it seem to have established that conflict between the two spouses so effectively? Starting a movie is not even that interesting. And another big minus is Kajal’s Malar. His character seems to have never appeared in any film so far. In terms of looks, however, Kajal is very disappointing in this film.
Except for the last ten to fifteen minutes in the movie, there are no great things to say in this movie. Also, actors like Kajal and Dulquer could not be used properly. Overall though he has yet to do the groundwork in the direction. On the whole, this “Hey Cinnamica” movie is not entirely impressive. Aditi Rao Haidari’s performance alone lasted 15 minutes, but the film failed in all other respects. Lack of proper narration and missing logic, including many silly elements, do not impress the audience at all.
