The Maidaan Movie is based on the golden years of the Indian football team. Directed by Amit Ravinder Nath Sharma for the national award-winning film ‘Badai Ho’, Maidan was produced by Bonnie Kapoor, Aakash Chawla, and Arun Joy Sengupta. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Saivin Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively. Ajay plays the role of Syed Abdul Rahim.

The biopic film is based on Syed Abdul Rahim, who was the coach of the Indian football team. In this film Maidaan, the golden years of football from 1952 to 1962 will be shown on the screen. In this film, Ajay Devgn will be looking at the role of Syed Abdul Rahim. Ajay Devgn will also appear at the age of 60 years.
