Viduthalai Movie is a Tamil language crime thriller film. The movie has to direct by Vetrimaaran and produced by Elred Kumar under the banner of RS Infotainment. The film stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the main lead roles. While film music has given by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography is done by R. Velraj. The full cast of the movie has not revealed.

On April 22, Vijay Sethupathi took up his Instagram handle to share posters of his upcoming Vetri Maran movie. In the first poster, Suri has noticed standing along with other police officers. In the second poster, Vijay is looking in police custody in a chained look. While Vijay will be going to perform in the role of Vatiyar, Suri will look like a cop. The film is an adaptation of a short story from Jaya Mohan’s novel.
