Director said during this COVID pandemic, law enforcement officials referred to as frontline warriors, and this name displays that as nicely, said the director. However, he says that the movie might be something past the standard cop movie. The Warrior movie has one extra element, which I experience is simply too early to reveal.

The Warrior movie storyline with the predictable elements of the hero being an embodiment of justice while the villian, being the very soul of all that is evil. Also, the film is a tribute to those doctors who doubled up to serve the people as IPS officers. Thus if one may quip, Vaidyaratnam Warrier becomes an IPS warrior.

After many hurdles, Ram and Krithi Shetty’s The Warriorr movie is entertaining in theatres. Definitely appreciate the team because we know about their stamina in previous films. N. Lingusamy is the ace director and Rocking DSP is a major plus in any movie. We suggest movie lovers do watch The Warrior movie in theatres only. In case you don’t have enough time to watch movies in theatres. Wait some more time to watch legal streaming platforms.
Movie Review
Lingusamy known for his mass action entertainers. When Ram teamed with Lingusamy, many expected breathtaking action sequences. Lingusamy tried to elevate Ram’s mass image with intense action blocks. He started off the narration in a slow and normal manner and as the story progressed elevated Ram’s heroism and Aadi Pinisetty. The entire first half talks about Ram as a caring doctor trying to bring justice to the people taking on the mighty and powerful Aadi Pinisetty. The Interval block introduces Ram as the DSP and this sets the stage for the clash between Ram and Aadi in the second half. The second half loaded with mass action elements between Ram and Aadi and though the intensity. Few of the action blocks shot in an interesting manner but the second half turned a bit predictable and routine.
Finally, the story comes to an end. Scenes involving Ram and Naditya elevated the mother-son bonding, Ram and Kriti Shetty, a beautiful romance, and Ram and Aadi, a clash of personalities. Devi Sri Prasad’s songs are foot tapping and Whistle and Bullet songs stand out. The background score for all the key portions is done in a superb manner and elevates all mood of the film. The photography work by Sujith Vaasudev registers as he captured the rustic flavour in the film nicely. Editing by Naveen Nooli is okay. The production design work is good as all the sets are used properly. The production values for this actioner are good.
Kriti Shetty appealed to all. Then as a tough police officer, he looked mass and rugged and took on Aadi Pinisetty. His body language, expressions, and emotions are good in both roles. He showed variations in these things as a doctor and as a police officer. Kriti Shetty looked cute and oozed with glamor in songs. She got a good screen presence and made the best use of it. She emoted well in a few of the scenes. The songs well choreographed between both of them and it is a treat to watch both of them on screen.
Aadhi Pinisetty shines in the powerful role of Guru. He dominates with his performance. Aadi is show stealer as the actor just lived in his role as a baddie. Be it his avatar or dialogue delivery, Aadhi is perfect in the role. Nadiya performed well as a caring mother and at the same time showed her toughness when confronted by Aadi. Brahmaji performed well as a cop showing dual shades. Akshara Gowda, Bharati Raja, Jayaprakash, Ajay, and others performed according to their roles.
