Thalli Pogathey is a Tamil romantic comedy-drama film directed and produced by R. Kannan. The movie is produced under the banner Masala Pix, in association with MKRP Productions. The movie features Atharvaa, Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.

Story Line:
The plot of Thalli Pogathey rotates around Karthik, Pallavi, and Arun. Karthik is madly in love with Pallavi and the story rotates about them. Due to some family problems, Karthik declines Pallavi’s proposal to run away and elope with her. Which leads Pallavi to marry Arun due to family force and emigrate to France. Karthik is always madly in love with Pallavi follows her to France a year later in the hope of winning her around.
Pallavi invites her ex-lover, to spend 10 days with her and her husband to show that she is actually leading a happy life. The movie story follows the concept of life after losing your loved one.

Movie Review:
In a scene in the center division of Thalli Pogathey, a romantic movie. That tries hard to be a modern-day relationship drama without showing any spark. Its protagonist Karthik (Atharvaa) tells his owner and the father (Aadukalam Naren) of Pallavi (Anupama Parameswaran), the girl he values that affair doesn’t suit him. But in the movie’s intro scene, we see him as a guy who seems to have done all that to reunite with his lover. It is also what drives Pallavi to be concerned about him and see him.
Pallavi tries convincing him that she is happy with her husband Arun (Amitash Pradhan). But Karthik demands she seems to be living two lives, leading a cheerful face to the world. It still pining for Karthik inside. And so, she asks him to spend 10 days in the house, with her and Arun. So that he can see that she has carried on. Karthik decides, but on the condition that if he finds out that she still has emotions for him, she would leave Arun.
Thalli Pogathey’s film has a unique premise, but despite the edginess in it. The movie regards rather bland, thanks to the lackluster writing, shallow characterization, and lifeless arrangements. There is hardly any chemistry between the three principles. Despite his screen presence, Atharvaa looks like he is just going via the actions. Anupama cannot transcend the broad writing of her character.
