Directer Rohit Shetty’s new project Sooryavanshi is a Bollywood action movie. The movie is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta, and Rohit Shetty under Dharma Productions in association with Reliance Entertainment and Cape Of Good Films. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are the main lead roles. Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena, and Javed Jaffrey are the supporting cast. Sooryavanshi’s movie is Rohit Shetty’s fourth cop drama after the Singham series of films and Simmba.
Akshay Kumar`s character was introduced in Simmba, Sooryavanshi traces the acts and serious antics of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad in India. Katrina Kaif as Aditi Sooryavanshi, while Ajay Devgn as DCP Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles as Inspector Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao.
As per a report published in Bollywood Hungama, Akshay and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi may hit the theatres on April 2, on Good Friday. The report quoted a source close to the production mentioning that Rohit and Reliance Entertainment are in a conversation with the theatre owners and an announcement will be made soon.
