Soorarai Pottru’s Second Love Single date announced!

Soorarai Pottru is an upcoming 2020 Tamil-language biographical action drama film. Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame has directed the movie. The movie is based on the real-life events of Air Deccan founder G.R. Gopinath. The film stars Suriya in the lead role including Aparna Balamurali, Karunas, Jackie Shroff, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Achyuth Kumar, Vivek Prasanna, Krishnakumar Balasubramanian & Kaali Venkat in prominent roles. Suriya has also co-produced the movie with Guneet Monga, under their 2D Entertainment & Sikhya Entertainment banners. G.V Prakash Kumar is scoring the music and background score for the film.

Soorarai Pottru is scheduled for its theatrical release during Summer 2020. The movie has raised expectations with first look posters and teaser. The makers have unveiled the most expected single, Maara Theme from the film last Friday. Now, they have come up with another announcement about the second song today.

Soorarai Pottru First Look Posters

The Official title poster released was released on 13 April 2019. The first look poster got unveiled on 10 November 2019. Suriya is seen in a rugged look with muscular body flying in the air on the poster. The first look created a massive impact on the fans and audience to see him in a mass avatar finally.

The second look poster revealed on New Year commented on the theme of the film “An ordinary man with an extraordinary dream”. The most expected teaser release date also got announced with the second look poster which was scheduled on 7 January 2020.

The Official Teaser of the film got revealed on 7 January. Suriya is portraying the character of a pilot officer named Nedumaaran Rajangam as an angry young man. The teaser hinted that the story’s timeline will happen from 1984 to 2003. The plot revolves on how a man with only Rs.6000 was able to start an airline company. The theme bgm is one of the main highlights of the teaser. Fans have received the teaser well and can’t wait to watch this angry version of Suriya on big screens.

Soorarai Pottru’s First Single – Maara Theme Out Now!

G.V Prakash is currently scoring the music for the film, collaborating with Suriya and director Sudha Kongara for the first time. GV Prakash already informed that Suriya also sang for a theme song in the movie. He used the theme in the teaser bgm too. Now, the team has unveiled the full Maara Theme song today evening.

Suriya has performed rap versions for the song with vocals by Nakul Abhyankar and Nakash Aziz. Arivu has written the lyrics for this theme. GV Prakash composed an intense theme for blockbuster Asuran. Now, he has come up with an equally good theme sound for Soorarai Poottru too. Hope the theme song creates the same magic as his previous blockbuster created on screen.
