After their 2015 comedy, Nanum Rowdy Than marks the second collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and director Vignesh Sivanjha, the two lovers of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal. It is one of the most anticipated films of recent times and according to reports, it is a romantic comedy in which movie fans will see Triangle love. Nayantara and Sivan Kathu are two Kaadhal producers and it was produced in collaboration with Seven Screen Studio on their production house Banner Rowdy Pictures. Sivan also wrote the story of this romantic drama and it was composed by Anirudh Ravichandran.

It stars Vijay Sethupathi Ranjanakudi Anbarasu Murugesha Bhupathi as Ohundhiran aka Rambo, while Nayantara as Diana, Samantha, Geeta, Kala Master, Redin Kingsley, Dancer-Choreographer Redin Kingsley, Lollu Sabha Maran, Bhargav & former Indian cricket. The shooting of S. Sreesanth KVRK went to the floors in December 2020 and has currently reported to have complete shooting and it is now in the post-production stage where technical works e.g. After editing and dubbing it has ready to hit theaters.

The Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal movie has set to release in theaters in December 2021. However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the release of the film has postponed.
