Deepika Padukone Family – Untold story, She is born on 5-Jan-1986 in Copenhagen in Denmark and her family an Indian Kannada Konkani parent.
Father : Prakash Padukone who is a former Professional Badminton player
Mother: Ujjala Padukone is a Travel Agent.
Sister: Anisha Padukone is a Golfer.
Deepika’s parental grandfather Mr. Ramesh a secretary of the Mysore Badminton Association.
Padukone family relocated from Denmark to India when she was 1 year old.
She been to Sophia high school for secondary education and completed her PU at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore.
Certainly Deepika quit Bachelor of Arts in Sociology[Indira Gandhi National Open University]because of unable to spare time to her modelling carrier.
Similarly at the age of 8 Padukone appeared in a couple of advertising campaigns, also worked as a child model.
Consequently, Deepika continued to pursue a carrier in badminton throughout her school days. As a result, she played badminton in national level championships as well.
She also played baseball in very few National level tournaments.
Furthermore, Deepika changed her goal and decided to become a model when she was at grade ten.
Therefore she got a green signal from her father to give up the game and concentrate on her full-fledged modelling carrier.
In the year 2004 with the help of Prasad Bidapa Deepika began her carrier as full-time modelling.
Certainly, she gained gratitude with a television commercial for Liril Soap and also modelled for various other brands and products.
Therefore Deepika won Model of the Year award in 2005 from Kingfisher Fashion awards from her runway debut at Lakme fashion week for designer Suneet Varma.
Father Prakash Padukone
Born on 10-Jun-1955 in a village near Kundapura taluka Udupi District in Karnataka India.
A Match arranged by his parents and got Married to Ujjala.
He was ranked No.1 in the year 1980 like wise in the same year Prakash became the First Indian to win All England Open Badminton Championships.
Major Achievements
His major achievements are 3 World Championships in Men’s Singles in the year 1983 at Copenhagen Denmark.
1 Award from Commonwealth games in Men’s Singles on 1978 at Edmonton Canada
6 Asian Games awards in the year 1974 and 1986 in IRAN and South Korea.
1 World Cup in Men’s Singles in the year 1981.
2 Awards in Men’s Singles in the Year 1979 and 1980 In Denmark Open and All England Open
